Anonymous asks: I was looking at the application for the street team and was wondering if you have to be well known with things like music venues and newspapers and such? I know of some stuff and go to concerts as often as I can at venues in my state but I was just wondering if it was a deal breaker for joining, if you turn people down if they dont have those ties.

I’ve been on this street team for almost two years now and have accumulated a fair amount of points. A little while ago, I decided to trade some in for a reward. To me, the coolest one that is offered is a phone call from a band member so that was the one I went for. Chelsea allowed me to choose who I wanted to call me so I chose Joel. It was really cool to get to chat with the singer of my favourite band ever, one on one, without being rushed like when you met them at a show. We chatted for about 20 minutes about random things like gangs and boy bands and This Century touring and stuff. It was just really cool. The only problem with the whole thing was for 20 minutes I had to try my very best to be calm and make sure my sentences didn’t come out like this “JSFHCSHLFVIDLGFSHVIGFLSF OMG I LOVE YOU RHJLFKSDHAFJSFVBACIHDFSUVHCBVFSKDHFJ.” I think I might save up more points to get a call from another member of TC :D
